Set Of Three Art Deco Hexagonal Coffee and Side Tables

 Wonderful and rare art deco set of three hexagonal tables from the iconic Ballarmac house in Coogee. One larger coffee table and two side tables with hexagonal tops and cabriole shaped legs with pad feet. The tops are fitted with recessed glass captured by strips of wood so they will not side around. I think one of the side tables is a slightly different model as the pad feet are larger.

The condition is good for their age. These tables have seen a lot of use with plenty of character and patina to the wood and finish. There are marks and scuffs, some gapping to the tops where the wood joins because it has shrunk with age. The original glass tops have seen heavy use over the past 90 to 100 years also with their fair share of scratches, good times must have been had. Structurally sound these tables should last another 100 years.
