Late Victorian adjustable piano stool by the English firm of C. H. Hare & Son. Constructed of ebonized wood, cast iron and brass with an adjustable crescent shaped seat and X-frame design.  Possibly reupholstered in the 1920s/30s, and in very good antique condition with some signs previous use commensurate with age.
