Great mid century 'Coronado' tan leather armchair, designed in1966 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for C&B Italia. C&B Italia was an Italian furniture company founded in 1966 by Piero Busnelli and Cesare Cassina, a predecessor to the well-known modern furniture brand B&B Italia modern furniture brand. Busnelli took over the company's leadership after the 1973 split, rebranding it as B&B Italia, which continues to be a major player in contemporary Italian design. With its generous proportions and soft tan leather upholstery it is extremely comfortable and one of the iconic creations of the design duo Afra and Tobia Scarpa.
In great original condition with some patina and some signs of use consistent with age.
