The process involves removing the original finish on the exterior, then treating any marks or blemishes and refinishing with a satin finish catalyzed protective lacquer. The new finish is superior to many you will see advertised and is considered both scratch and water resistant in comparison with the majority of other finishes. This means maintenance of the furniture is very low effort and the furniture will be well preserved into the future.
