Striking vintage Japanese merchants chest on wheels (Kuruma-Dansu) traditionally used for storage of valuables.  Featuring integrated wooden wheels beneath the base, with dual sets of sliding wooden panel doors.  Crafted from hardwoods, with rich wood grain and heavy, iron corner bracket hardware.

In good original condition with some signs of use commensurate with age.
